As I've mentioned before, I don't think I'll ever be able to fully explain how much value I have found in writing a weekly newsletter over the last year and a half.
Thanks to all of you who have sent messages over that time.
It's heartwarming to know when words and stories land. Connection is, after all, the most enriching and necessary aspect of our social existence.
Without it we would be left to live in isolation and seclusion.
However narrow the bandwidth of that connection, however transient, when one soul perceives another, or when one soul feels seen by another, that quality or dimension of our existence is witnessed.
It is in those moments of witnessing that an appreciation of ourselves and our lives expands.
The degree to which connection is essential for health and well-being cannot be understated. Whether that quality of connection is between aspects and dimensions of yourself, of your relationship with other people, or with your relationship to the wider world, all is a deepening of the relationship with life.
My intention is to get back to the newsletter soon, as to when and where that happens, we shall have to wait and see.
