holiday
2 minute read
I'm on holiday, so I'll keep this short.
I'm waiting for a hard copy of The Life Compass to drop through a letterbox at the other end of the country. I'll give it one more read through and make any last alterations it needs, as it is unlikely there will be any errors left to address.
I'm trusting that the cover will be okay and that the font size will be optimal this time.
For those of you who have been waiting patiently for a good couple of months since I said I was finished last time, thank you. Thank you for your patience and for your support. It means a great deal.
Grind or visualise
There is a section in the book that invites the question of how much we each need to 'grind' and how far we get with 'visualisation'.
Clearly, it's a mix of both. The question is, what is this balance in you?
For me, I have yet to feel like I can free myself from the grind.
There is a version of me that, in the past, I allowed to squander opportunities in the name of comfort. I carry the knowledge of the cost of my inaction with me still. So far, it has yet to let up.
It's not always easy, but it is worth it.
There is something here to say about living true to one's nature. That your path or calling doesn't have to be a specific path or a specific destination, it just needs to be in alignment with the truth that you find in yourself and in the world.
This is really what The Life Compass is about: how do you connect with your truth and the truth of the world, how do you relate to it and how do you live in a way that your thoughts, feelings, vision, and action align with it.
Oppertunity
As the newsletter is hosted on a separate platform from The Wayfarers Guild, and it is looking likely I will shift over to the other platform, the days of The Signpost being free may well be numbered.
For those who are interested, The Wayfarers Guild is can still be accessed for a nominal fee.
